Located in Bar Harbor, the Coach Stop Inn dates back to 1804 and is the town's oldest inn. It originally operated as a stagecoach stop and tavern and now operates as a bed and breakfast. The building is believed to be haunted by some ghosts of its past. Witnesses have reported seeing lights flicker, objects moving on their own, doors locking after they've been left unlocked, and the sounds of children's voices. The ghost has been nicknamed Abbe, since most of the paranormal activity takes place in the Abbe Room.
