Located on Potter Street in Brunswick, the Joshua L. Chamberlain Museum is named after its owner, the ex-governor of Maine and Civil War hero. It now stands as a tribute to Chamberlain and has been transformed into a museum that displays some of his personal belongings. These belongings range from his time in office to the battlefields of Gettysburg.

Rumor has it that Chamberlain and his wife never left the home and their spirits linger. Witnesses have reported seeing the couple wandering the halls, holding hands, and disappearing through the walls. Others have experienced a random pain in their hips, the same spot where Chamberlain was wounded during the war.
