Amazing performance and props!
I walked the trail of terror with a 15-year-old and was astounded by the number and quality of exhibits, the actors performance and the overall "terrifying experience" This was so well done!

Wow, best haunted walk ever. Monsters and ghouls were awesome. Even my teenage grandsons said they were impressed. Very interactive experience. It says it’s about a half hour walk but it took us almost an hour. By the end I was ready to get oooout!!! Lol

Great value, fun
The actors are awesome, and super nice- they are pretty gentle with their touches and don’t get too in your face. I’m not a fan of the ones who scream, that’s not really my thing, but overall everyone was awesome, it’s just scary enough to get your adrenaline going, and just all around an awesome event!

SO SCARY SO FUN
I absolutely loved the fact that they were able to touch you. Everything was put together beautifully and I would definitely go again. The characters were so scary and the hiding places were great. I really liked that they talked to you.

Email Verified Beat my expectations
Went last night with 7 kids all around 9/10years old. Wasn’t sure what to expect but we loved it! Kids were happily terrified and wanted to do it again. All the actors did great and it was memorable. Thanks for a fun time!

Email Verified Screaming like a little girl!
These guys are really good at SCARIN THE CRAP OUT OF PEOPLE! Worth every penny and it goes to a worthy (OOB 365) 501c3 non profit. Im not sure what was scariest... The chainsaw crazed farmers or the clown house. Go get your scare on while helping out the great community of OOB.

Email Verified Scary and creative stroll through the woods
Tons of scares in this self-paced walk through the woods. Plenty of jump scares, but a lot of creative scenery work too — there were distinct “worlds” of aesthetics that were internally consistent but morphed into different horror subgenres and overall feel. Many of the actors went all out in terms of energy and creativity; cheers to the creepy goat children in the pallet maze, a part of the post-apocalyptic industrial themed section. The walk is self paced — you have the choice of walking only with your group, and there’s no guide. We did it as couple and it felt lengthy but didn’t overstay its welcome. The pacing of the trail itself was excellent throughout, with balanced lulls, false lulls, and intense periods interspersed.

Email Verified Lots of fun
There was a long line when we arrived but it moved very quickly and characters entertained while waiting. The actors did a great job scaring us! We had so much fun! I would definitely go back again. Recommend wearing old shoes that you don't mind getting a little messy...but it's all part of the fun.

Email Verified Great Fun
We arrived from Georgia and bought tickets online. When we arrived a short time later, they told us they just closed since it rained and they didn’t have customers. i explained we were in from out of town and they sent everyone back out to the trail so we could go through. They were so kind and we had a great time. It was very well done! What a great start to our vacation weekend. The entire staff was wonderful!!!

Email Verified Questionably worth the value
It was a nice experience I suppose, but as someone that enjoys scaring people I feel as though a few things could’ve been approached differently. I get the whole “actors are friendly” presentation, but I would have kept them “emotionless”rather than running around hi-fiving everyone! My fiancé is literally scared to death of chuckie, but let’s say she hadn’t so much as flinched from this version mostly I’m sure from the scale in which he was presented, and the fact that he was present before the actual walkthrough had begun. I’m glad we did it, but probably would not attend again... perhaps I could assist with some scare tactics and presentation of your characters!!! Great efforts obvious, but scare factor simply was too pg...I believe the people they sent us in with literally “knew the actors personally”.... that could have affected my experience as well... it was a good experience, but not really a memorable one! Some of the actors actually spoke when asked for candy by children!! He stated “I’m all out, I don’t have anymore”. Smh

Email Verified Very long wait
I bought tickets in advance for my 15 year olds birthday and 7 friends. The tickets did not have a specific date or time so I tried calling and emailing to make sure we could get in Saturday night without a long wait. I didn’t get a response to my inquiries. On the opening night I called again and was able to speak to a women who advised there could be a wait but waiting more than an hour has never been an issue. We arrived sat night at 7:50 pm and waited in line until 10:00 pm. Thankfully there was a clown who was very good at entertaining the kids while we waited. I am very appreciative of his efforts. Without him, it wouldn’t have been worth the wait. The walk itself lost its scare factor after waiting so long and only took about 15 minutes to go through. Spoil alert: there is a man made mud section that will ruin your shoes. Wear mud boots! My suggestion is to sell a limited amount of tickets for designated date and time to prevent the long wait time and get rid of the mud section or recommend mud boots in your advertisement.

Email Verified Safety concerns
I have been to many haunts ,even participated in them and this is one I will never return to. The strangers in my group had the same frustrations as I did. There was a lack of safety. The “leader” did not go over any guidelines prior to entering, the walk is basically self guided and extremely poorly lit. Yes, it is the woods, but with uneven paths and roots exposed, there should have been something. There is a large soap suds dispenser one has to go under and orbiz balls that are in the ground mixed with mud, and yes you must walk through them. They have pallet walls on both sides. It makes for a very slippery mess all while being touched by the actors. THAT is a huge issue. Yes, they can get in your personal space, but to take your personal items and block you from your group is a whole different level. Again, the “leader” should have made it clear upon entrance.Haunts are supposed to be scary and fun, not unsafe and uncomfortable. A stranger in our group of 14 was in hysterics by the end. That does not make for a haunted time.I would not recommend this haunt walk to anyone.

Worth the 2 hour drive (Bangor)
For 20 years we’ve traveled all over the state going to haunted houses/rides/walks this was by far the best one we’ve ever been too. WEAR BOOTS or OLD SHOES!

Needs some safety updates
First, I’m glad I purchased tickets through Groupon as this would not be worth the full ticket price. I liked that it was a walk and there was plenty of interaction with characters. The jump out, stare, follow you, may even place a light hand on your shoulder. What I didn’t like...there is a part where your guide doesn’t go in and it’s like a maze but hard to see/get through. At the end there is a mound of bubbles (knee high or so) that you walk through to get out. Then there is a tiny bridge you walk over, this was my least favorite....it was mushy and mucky and honestly almost captured a shoe to get through, as I came off it was so slippery, I fell. Covered in dirt; not pleased. My ankle is still soar today. So make sure to wear boots and ones with good tread. Also at the end we were thankful someone in our party noticed all the cords at the end or someone would have tripped. Overall with some small adjustments this could be a good walk but there are definitely a couple of thing that are a larger accident waiting to happen.

Not bad
Hey, if you like this type of thing, it’s fun! We had to drive 12 minutes, and worth it. We bought them for our 2 daughters but they are busy, so we went. Worth it!!

Email Verified Fun but Dangerous
I enjoyed my time at the Trail of Terrors, but there were many times that I was worried I or someone in our party could get injured. For starters, this is not a place to go if you are prone to seizures, or can be physically disabled by bright flashing lights. The lights are so bright and flash quickly enough to disable most people... I could not imagine going through the trail having medical issues with flashing lights. We were even informed that someone in the party ahead of us had a seizure. Now of course, it is a haunted walk. Strobe lights are fairly popular for Halloween attractions. However, I saw no warnings that these flashing lights would be here. I think it would be smart for the people that put this thing together to have a clear area to explain guidelines, rules, and potential hazards ahead. Given the fact that someone had a seizure, I am surprised that I did not have to sign a waiver, or was explained to that we should "enter at our own risk". It seems like there is no clear way to exit in the event of an emergency either.Overall it was certainly fun. In my opinion, it's a lot more fun to go through a haunted walk to make friends with the strangers around you, than to go with the intention of getting spooked.

Email Verified Really bad attraction
Where to start, first they made groups of 15 or more people which destroys and real scares if there were any. You walk along an uneven path behind aquaboggin. They had features off the path no lit up so you can barely make them out in the dark. The haunting quality was pretty much non existent. This event is run by OOB365 and honestly the cost is not worth it, not even close. I would suggest they run it by donations instead of charging. I doubt this will exist much longer.

Email Verified Fairly Scary but Limited Employees
My husband and I went and while we generally enjoyed the trail we were made aware that they were down 20 or so people due to a high school football game so most of the people were in the game and not working. When you’re paying almost $20 a ticket you should have more then a 8 people running a “haunted” walk.
